Default You Shoud Buy It

Looks like it still has a wealth of good parts remaining. When the carcess is fully-gutted of parts- take that Saws-all and hack-off the buckled rear clip. Porsche dismantlers are willing to weld a good front clip for track cars.

Be careful -- with a hit like that, I wouldn't be surprised if the rear wheels and the tranny got damaged in the process.

exactly if u go back and read lart's post about his rear end accident and all of sudden his tranny gernades i would be careful and would think twice about buying another tranny that has been in a rear end wreck.

Looks like the sunroof wind deflector parts came out ok. To me it looks like both wheels on the drivers side were dinged up.

somehow I sincerely doubt that tranny is ok

the engine might be, but based on how ****ed up that car is, I wouldn't be surprised if some accessory parts (rollers, belts, mounts and such) are damaged

Did that car get smashed on the west side highway in Manhattan about 3 years ago? Looked just like that one from what I can remember. Just wondering if a wreck would be floating around that long, and that far away. Doubt it.

Happened to me with a rear-end accident that resulted in 1/10th of the exterior damage. Tranny ate itself.

With a little hammering, the rear hatch on that car might be good.

I don't understand why everyone is so quick to want to part it out. These great cars become more and more rare each day, why not save one? Buy it and restore it...

Because it is still cheaper and a better investment to buy a more expensive, Clean Titled 944/951 in one piece, than to restore a Salvage Titled one.

Still need to kill many more before people start worrying about needed to restore dead 944s.

PS. someone swipe the door handles off it for me. :P
