Request: Can I borrow an 058 ECU from someone for a dyno test?
Hey gang,
Looks like I'm pretty much ready to do a baseline dyno on my car. Though I wanted to make a little test out of it, because I have 3 different chips!
First off, I have access to a stock 077 ECU (87 924S) with stock chip.
Then, I have another 077 ECU in my car with one of the "Autothority clones" you see on eBay.
Lastly, I have a mystery chip which came in my car when I bought it...but it's coded for an 058 ECU. I had an 058 ECU in my car when I bought it, but the ECU failed and I replaced it with the 077 box. The 058 chip does not work properly in the 077 ECU.
So...I'm gonna do 3 pulls. One with each chip, just for fun.
Does anyone have an 058 ECU that I could borrow for a couple weeks? I am willing to "insure" it (I break it, I buy it), but I can assure you nothing will happen to it. Let me know! Thanks!
