Any cleaning suggestions for cab's plastic rear window?
Hello everyone, new 1990 944 cab owner. The top was replaced a few years back by the previous owner. The rear window is in pretty good shape, but I noticed a little "yellowing" from the sun. Anyone have suggestions on cleaning it? Anything I can put on it to prevent it from getting worse? Preventive maintenance maybe??
Any comments would be appreciated. I ran some searches but nothing came up.
Thanks in advance!
Dwayne

Dwayne,
Congrats on your 944cab. I cleaned up the rear window on my cab with Renovo Plastic Window polish. The window was dull and scratched. The polish made it look good. Will not take out the deep stuff but will remove the fine scratches. I also redyed and waterproofed the top with the Renovo products. Worked great. Now it will even bead water.
Good luck.

I have a friend with a 3-series convertible that has had some luck with the Plastic Polish from Griot's Garage. www.griotsgarage.com
Fair warning, you'll end up spending a bunch of other money at that site that you didn't intend to!
