Default Swar Bar Install

When installing sway bars should the suspension be loaded? Clarks says nothing about loading the suspension. Just raise car unbolt old and bolt in new however, I have also heard form other reliable sources that it is better to have the car on ramps so the suspension in loaded.

Does it matter?

Yes, suspension should be loaded to prevent proload on the sway bar.

This really only applies to sway bars with adjustable drop links like the weltmeisters.

The stock bars and even 968 M030 bars don't have any adjustments so it does not make any difference. I may however be an easier install with suspension loaded.
