where does this wire go to??? the starter??

Default where does this wire go to??? the starter??

i was about to put my intake manifold on when i saw this wire. it come straight from the Positive battery terminal. is there 2 wires that come down on to the bolt that's circled?

That's correct, 1 wire come from the positive battery terminal and other come from the alternator.

HOLLY GOD MAN!!! That starter solenoid is the nastiest, cruded up peice of work I'VE seen in a while! Take it ALL apart, and clean it real good! Your car's starter even TRIED to start, looking like that? Maybe its just the crappy resolution in the pic?.....NAW! Get rid of the "crude" and grease it up good ( you got no boot there for the +12V side if it?)

Yep, theres two on the big stud, and one on the little stud, and of course the field wire to motor on the other larger stud (one with white shrink tubing on it). The terminal lug size will tip ya off as to which is which.
