Default What kind of paint was used for Fuchs?

Almost every set of Fuchs that i've ever seen is flat black looking. Are they supposed to be shiney? Im considering repainting them but I'm not sure what to use. What would look better flat black or gloss? Thanks for any input.

I hear Satin Black is best, I haven't been able to find any yet. Plenty of flat black though...

I used satin Black on mine. Automotive spray paint over a grey base. They've held up for nearly 12 months now and still look great.
No pics as they are on the crashed hard drive!

Originally they had a satin finish, but I like the way they look better in gloss black so that's how I refinished mine.

They weren't originally paint, but were anodized black, since the great sensitivity to acids in the wheel wash. Satin/semi-gloss is as close to original as possible.

That's what I used. Rust-o-leum stuff, it was about 3.50 a can I think. Looks good Found it at Home Depot.
