Speedo inaccuracies....

Mine registered faster than my actual speed ... adjusting the needle down a tad cleared that up. I verified using one of the local PDs stand-alone radar units that displays your speed back to you and timing between mile markers.

mine always reads a little high. When researching my defense for a court case, I calculated the car to be travelling at 47mph at an indicated 50. The ratio stays the same, so smaller speed=smaller error, larger speed=larger error

Mudbuddha:
It was retardedly easy.
Just get the gauge cluster out via the 5/6 phillips head screws holding it in to get the housing off. Carefully pop the acryllic protector plate off the front of the gauge cluster and twist the speedo needle over towards 170/180 and you will reach resistance. Twist it past that to make up the difference your needle reads past 0. When you let it go it should snap back to 0.

LMAO...I would've Fed-Ex'd a plate to ya if we all weren't a bunch of piggies.
I would never dream of trusting a car to be that quick to those speeds and then seem to hunker down to ready itself to be pushed even faster. I owned a '91 Nissan 300zx NA before the 944 T, and I thought that was pretty damn weighty for higher cruising speeds...but this thing, even at lower weight, just wow.
