Guess I'm out of the closet-er, the curling closet that is. I've curled a few times over the years, and wanted to reconnect as a way to do some more fun things with the kids-so I made a visit recently, and will be going back for more.

Race car? Yep, Raj (968 Turbo S) and I went in on a 951 that's track ready. Al P of NNJR did me a major solid and towed it down to Raj's last week (location undisclosed, due to scum bag Turby) and he's finishing some fettling on it. We hope to do some events this year, but I haven't yet mapped out our plan yet-I have another big travel year scheduled. I'm still a believer in 'Track bad, wax good' for my street car-as is Raj-but we felt we were missing out on a lot of fun so we're heading down the slippery slope. And we'll be depending on you guys for lots of answers!

Put me down as a maybe...
End of march is crunch time for
http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~adrialk.../isometric.jpg
Picture needs to be a reality early April so we can get some testing time on it...

My...ahh...944..which i lovingly refer to as "the ****box" now...is sleeping at home for the time being. No time for an unreliable car right now. so I would probably be rolling in a "mint" 1996 nissan sentra....nownow lets keep the jealousy to a minimum....

You lucky b*tch Jeff! I didn't accomplish my goal of getting a 951 before my 18th...

Now, exuse my ignorance...but what goes on at a meet? Just hanging out and talking Porsche?

Ok - looks like the date is set - March 26th.

Now, the location. As I stated before, my vote is for the Hot Grill. Click HERE for their website.

Location: 669 Lexington Ave, Clifton, NJ (Where Rt 46 and 21 intersect in Clifton - just south of the Garden State Parkway)

Phone: 973-772-6000

You simply can't go wrong with:
A Hot Dog all the way...

...with all the fixin's

Or you can have anything you want....

...as long as you like chili souce on it!

So, can you say no to this?

-Z-man.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the Hot Grill. However, given the number of Hot Dogs that I've consumed in that fine establishment, I should own stock in the company!

You gotta try their Banana Oreo, Mint Oreo, and Cake batter flavors - good stuff.

You do like the super sweet stuff. A bit much for my taste but thats what makes the world go round. BTW why do you think they call them RIPPERS, if you think it is because they rip open from being deep fried your mistaken. Take 2 and wash it with a Rheingold and it is better than X-lax.

The old Red Chimney of 20+ years ago (back when the chimney was red) was the best burger place by far. That would be the perfect meeting location but the food at the new place sucks.

Way to go! How about some autocross too. Cindy has yet to give in to the track car but I am working on her. Maybe you can help me to convince her.

BTW anyone showing up for Gathering of the faithful at Autohaus on the 12th?
