968 vs 986 Prices: Whatca gonna do?
#31
Many cars copied the 924/944 looks so I definitely think its going to become a classic for that alone. The styling is classic if so many car companies try to reproduce it. Then take a look at the cars of the 80s. The 944 is everything the american Corvette should have been in the 80s. Hell, I think I read in Car and Driver about the 50 year Corvette history that Corvettes of the 80s had trouble with chipped n/a 944s in autocross. Who knows? Maybe people that look into 80s corvettes will find the 944s are better cars and make them more desirable when they become classics. Now is the time to buy my friends, buy buy buy.... and then you see what it costs to maintain them

Condition Value for 1997 986 with 84,000 miles Private Party Value (from KBB)
Excellent $15,100 (Selected)
Good $14,150
Fair $12,900
I think the base Boxster (I used base equipment for both) cost around $40,000, how much higher was the 1994 968 Cab base price?
