Sorry guys, didnt mean to be misleading - not my car.

Just a pic I came across some time back, probably off of rennlist. Saved it to my library of car pics.

Id be too embarrassed to post a pic of the interior of my track car. Its all gutted right now and Im installing another cage. I have not cleaned off all the adhesive residue and there is welding spatter and metal dust from grinding all over....

Since that protrusion of metal is evident on both the inside and outside of the car, would I be jumping to conclusions to say theres an impact beam inside? or is it hollow?
