Default adhesive

Greetings,
I have a 87 924s and the strip of trim moulding on the door is pulling away. What would be the best method and or adhesive to use to make this repair?
As always Thanks in advance Dale

Go to your local, friendly auto paint store. Ask them this question. They have multiple products available for your pleasure. Do ask the correct questions, and give enough info to the salesman there, so they know exactly, what your trying to do. Good luck!

Thanks Granite 944,
I'll try that today and let you know how it worked out. Has anyone got a line on these trim pieces?

Used a product called Gloozit Automotive adhesive and it worked a treat. The new adhesives available are quite amazing.

From what little I gathered after talkign to the body shop that did some work on my car, I think it's 3M "VHB" (Very High Bond) Acrylic Foam double stick tape. I use it frequently, and it certainly has the sticking power.

You are correct, the 3M adhesive doudle sided sticky tape is the one to go for ( automotive tape mainly supplied in auto-paint stores )... just in case people go looking for it in office supply stores

Cool, that's what I thought. I have loads of the stuff. It's about $50 for a roll of it about as big as a record in 1/4 inch widths.
