Since these are single adjustable, compression damping shouldn't change much at all when you adjust them full stiff. Adjustment on these is for rebound only. Koni even has a little chart on the website that shows this.

Hard to compress and nearly impossible to compress are two different things. I called Paragon, they are sending me another one. They hadn't heard of this problem, but it happened to a local guy recently as well. He was able to fix his....somehow...
