'95 968 For Sale,bad engine

I don't know what "bad" means, but lets assume worst-case and the engine AND head are only good for paper weights or boat anchors. Another 968 3.0 motor is going to be $4K+ used unless you get very lucky. So then we are already at $10K if you do all of the work yourself. Unless the rest of the car is pristine, its not worth it. There are some decent higher mileage 968's running around that can be had for less than $10K easily (like the one that Ted the ex-mod just sold).
Now, if someone had a 951 motor laying around, or found one at a decent price, that could be interesting and worth the effort.
Anyway, its worth it for someone local to take a look at it, there's nothing to lose there.

OK Guys ,Here are some of the details,The car is at Rt44Auto Parts,in Revenna,(sp),Oh. 174K a crack in # 2 cylinder.Head is off so you may see it. 1-330-297-1415. FRED

Like stated above, the most expensive Porsche to buy is a cheap one...unless you've got a spare engine lying around.... (And I happen to know someone with one of these buggers)
