Question Epoxy for driveway

Hey all, does anyone know which type of epoxy sealant is best for a garage/driveway? My mom is moving in about 2 weeks and I want to get one of the do it yourself kits so I do't have to scrub with gasoilne to get the oil off. Can I just pick the stuff up at a Home Depot, or do I have to mail order it? Thanks all.

Better to spend your money fixing the oil leaks.

I intend on doin gthat actually. This is really so I can work on the car IN the garage, and not have to worry about getting a tongue lashing if anything drips on the driveway.

I have used the two part epoxy from home depot with great results.

In my first house I used a one part paint that said garage floor epoxy on the can but was only in one can. The first time I parked a hot wet tire on the floor the paint came up.

In my second house I used a two part epoxy that has to be mixed prior to applying to the floor. I droped a brake rotor on the floor and the paint did not chip. A chunk of concreate chiped with the paint still attached. The two part epoxy is the way to go.

I would not paint my driveway with the stuff though. When it gets wet it becomes very slippery. Even with the paint chips it is still slippery. You would likely fall and break your neck if you painted the driveway.

I am just doing the garage. Thanks for the info. Is there and certain brand of epoxy you would reccomend, or just any two part epoxy?
