I have a great attorney up here. Just recently he was able to get two 20 + over speeding tickets dropped to no point violations. PM me if you want his contact info.

Since we are on the topic of points, I'm from New Jersey and have a slightly OT question. Once, maybe last summer a friend and I were traveling through PA. They came around a slight bend in the interstate (where the troopers like to hide) at 80mph and got a speeding ticket for 80mph (could have been 79mph) in a 65mph. However, they got no points on their license and just had to pay a fine. They live in New Jersey and the car had New Jersey plates. If I get a speeding ticket out of my state does that mean I don't get points on my lisence? Or is this some PA law? Just curious...

Points occur when the police department reports the incident back to your home states DMV and the insurance company then picks them up on your policy. If you pay your fine before it is due frequently the out of state police don't report the violation. It also depends on if the state in which you got caught has an automated file sharing system with your home state registry.
