Default Said goodbye to the 951 today, now what do I do with all these extra parts?

Well guys, 4 years of 951 ownership and it all changed today.
Waterguy (Don) came and picked up his new red 951 from me today. It was a little hard to watch, but I'm glad a Rennlister bought it and it will have a good home. It's been a great experience and I've meet alot of great people here and at PCA events. I'll be back in it after my son is old enough to enjoy it with me, but for now I'm Porsche less for the fist time in 6 years.

Now that the Porsche is gone, who wants a WHOLE BUNCH of parts for cheap. I will be putting together a list of things left over from 5 parts cars that I've had over the past few years. I would love for someone to come and buy the lot of it. This would be an easy way for someone to make some cash if they have the time and space for it.

Anyone in the north west want to take this on?

Jason - Sorry to see you are out, but I understand. You'll be back though.

If you have some good AC lines from your parts cars, I'l like to get them from you.

Most of what I have left is low $ stuff, relays, switches, headlights, electric motors, carpet pieces, trim stuff, latches, nuts, bolts, doors, windows, spare itres, jacks, tool kits, rubber seals, dash, sun shades, exhaust pieces. Nothing that most people would consider upgrade parts, but lots of good replacement parts. Almost all the parts cars I got were in good condition with the exception of the damaged areas. There is a FULL pickup load+ leftover.

Thanks he is my new Porsche, if you can imagine he is higher maintenace that the 951 was......lol

I think all the A/C lines got trashed on removal, I'll look around and email you if any survived.

And yes, I'll be back......right around the time the Cayman used prices fall into my zone.

I also have a brand new set of Zimmerman 86' turbo rotors that I'd sell for a good price.

I'll take whatever switches and spare tires you have. Any black interior parts? PM me!

Default Parts

Zach,
I've got a late 16" red spare, and early 15" and a ATP 17" wheel.

I've got lots of switches, maybe a dozen or so late ones, 3 or 4 early.

Lots of black trim parts, I'm not sure exactly what, it's been a while since I went though it all. If you can wait I will inventory everything next weekend and take pictures.

Cheers,
Jason

Sounds like I should've test drove that car of yours, when I had the chance....huh!

Sorry to hear ya let 'er go! But it SURE looks like theres a mighty good reason for it too! Congratulations on that little one! Take mighty good care of 'em, and he'll be your "Porsche buddy" FOREVER! There is a time and place for everything. I need to remember that myself sometimes!

I'm not worried. I KNOW you'll be back again, with another Porsche!

Take care!

Funny thing, I WAS thinking of ya today, too. I was remembering a post ya were in way back about vacumn lines, and the type of lines you've used in the past, and the web site you posted in it also. I tried a search earlier today, but got your user name wrong. Thanks! seeing it fresh again, will make it much easier to do that search!
