well in my S2 i have a reno 2 and it has that lock if the battery dies, the shop had the battery out so the radio is locked. The manual has the instructions in it that say if you switch on the set after the power supplie was interuptedthe word CodE appears in the display.
Now enter the predetermined code by pressing the station button 1-4 and
press the left hand part of the search tuning rocker switch.
If the code is entered correctly, the car radio is ready to function again.
If the code is entered incorrectly, the display indicates ---- for 10 sec. After the 3rd unsuccessful attempt this waiting periodis one hour, and after another 16 such attempts the radio can only be decoded in the blaupunkt service workshop at the owners expense.
If the supplie of voltage is interuptedduring the waiting period this waiting period commences anew.

My radio code is 6513. What do I do to decode it. Im sorry this is sort of stupid but I can not figure it out Thank you for any help

I have exactly the same issue you described ... replaced the battery ... now have to reset the radio ... I have the code ... just can’t figure out how it gets entered correctly using the Left Rocker Switch. Please help! Thanks!
