My '87 chassis has the Audi 4 rings stamped into the sheetmetal under the rear seats.

I also noticed a BMW connector on the airbag system of my '89 when I had it.

The interior light is the same as used by the 70's Benzes and some sound control controls are used by Honda's. A Bentley uses the same rotor and the connectors are also used by some Benzes. The aircon pump in my 1983 Eurospec is found in John Deere tractorss (I am under correction for the tractor name) and the coil is either the same or similar to those used in older Benzes. The aux air valve is a Bosch part and is the same as used by other manufacturers such as BMW and Ford, at least in SA. The CV boots are exactly the same as is used by Volkswagen Kombi's. It is possible to fit an Audi 500 and some Glof GTI boots on a 944 CV joint. I know that the joint itself is also used by another VW product - can't remember. The small pump on the water bottle washer is the same as those used in older Benzes. I had to replace my front disks and found that an earlier 911 model used a disk that was only marginally different. I think it was only 1 mm thicker. I have also replaced my shocks with aftermarket Gabriels and pads witheaftermarket Ferodo's. The tie rod ends also seems to be generic hardware.

My Girling brake master cylinder has a MB logo on it, but I put that in myself... I'm trying to compare my 300TD with my 944 and think of what parts they share...

You can build everything yourself and have a very expensive one off or dip into someones parts bin and just build the stuff that matters most and have a great sports car.
The title was entirely in Jest, kinda like the torsion tube has VW and Audi Logos on it
