Just Pimped My Ride.....well Kinda. (pics)
Well After a near death experiance that I got a bunch of grief for I decided to turn my 951 into more of a cruzi'n machine than a street rocket. (eventhough I have some engine mods on the way ) PLus I figured if I have a bunch of stuff on my car I would be more carefull on the road. So this weekend I decided to put some stuff in and Pimp My Ride..
First you have to have the Bling Bling so I got some Blingi'n 18's on low profile Federal's. (18X8.5 18x10)
I needed some mad beat so I installed a Infinity Basslink Sub that was fairly simple to install. Decent Solution for weight, size and sound, good fit for our cars.
I also got his tight Alpine Deck that plays Mp3's and all kinds of stuff and I also decided to replaced the crap stock door and side speakers with some Alpine speakers. I also threw in a sick Momo **** that feels tight.
With all this extra crap on my car I had to make sure I could stop on a dime if need so I got a set Zimmerman rotors.
That concludes my first round of Pimpi'n, I have some seat covers and a pillar pod I need to install, then come the engine mods. All this unnecessary crap has my wallet on empty, but at least the ladies aproove .

Well I actually just sawed off the stock shifter by about an inch, then I bought a 8$ shift converter from 928sport and slipped it in. The shift shaft is flat shaped and that piece I got from 928motorsport slips over the shaft to make it round so that it may fit the after market *****... It gets a lil loose sometimes but it works and feels great.

The kicker of all this... I had JUST FINISHED reinstalling a new tranny. I could have taken out the tank to repair the problem. Luckily, there was only one small whole. I bought a large drill bit, enlarged the original hole and repaired the tank from the top.
What a mess! People should really be more careful before they go drilling in cars.

I actually just went through the carpet and its holds very well, as the sub is light.
