The weather is nice and it is autocross time.

The local PCA is holding an autocross at Phoenix Muni Stadium at Priest and Van Buren.

After not autocrossing my spec car in ages I will be bring it out for a run through the cones.

Any other listers want to come out? Should be fun.

My friends and I are renting Arroyo Seco (Demming New Mexico) on the 21st. cost is around $40 and you will get a TON of track time. (multiple hours). PM me if anyone wants info.

Man im so jealous that some regious run events year round. It usually ends around November and starts up again in March for the MetroNY region. Our first is in mid March...need to get a few things done before then.

I can give you a spin in the spec car. I'll bring my spare helmet.

Runs usally start about 8am and finish by 4pm. I am not sure when I will be on track, but if you are there you can ride along.

PS... Autocross is great for beginners so really it is a "No Experience Needed" type thing.

I used to live near 107th and Thomas. I was there from June 97 to Sept 2004. Alot of growth in that time.

I went to Barrett Jackson last year. Actually my wife was the one that wanted to go. It was cool, but expensive and too many muscle cars. I am not that much in to muscle cars and that is pretty much all that was there. There were a few other intersting cars, but maybe like 5-10. I tend to see more intersting stuff out at the track. Maybe I am spoiled, but I have no plans on going again unless the muscle cars trend gets replaced by cars I like more.
