Motor mounts...solid or OEM?
My mounts are in need of replacement. Should I get solid or OEM mounts?
Has anyone replaced with solid, and regretted it? Anyone use the Lindsey Racing solid mounts?
This is a track car, no street driving at all.
Thanks!

As I was buying parts for my rebuild, track- only car, the "reality" side of solid bushings were: 1, buzzy motor and trans, chassis/engine bolts vibrate loose often, the benefits/adantages did not outweigh the headaches, bought aftermarket o.e.m. style...

If its a track car and it was mine, I'd put in solid. That being said, the only basis I have for that is the complete disappointment that I have had with my aftermarket mounts. They are garbage and I'll be doing the job again. For a track car though... I'd go solid and forget about them.

Solid.
Say, the 928 takes Ford truck motor mounts (Anchor brand, about $25 each) What about the same mount in the 968. Anyone tried? I think you have to saw a positioning pin off and it's good to go on the 928. A real popular replacement item and it works well.
