I think the early cars are ~440 lbs, and the later ones are ~520. I'll have to look it up.

You can just lift up one end and swing it around, then lift up the other end and do the same. Who needs 3-4 guys?

I've stripped 2 cars completely, with a third on its way there. No glass, plastic, carpet, nothing in 'em when done. I don't know exactly what they weigh in at, but, can tell ya 3-4 guys should be able to pick it up long enough to get her on a trailer (the fellas in the back, will be grunting somewhat). Both of my shells were hauled off by a scrap guy, with a tilt bed, and a winch to pull it up on his truck with. It was just a little too much for me to pull it out of my garage alone and over the gravel by myself, so I pulled it out using my truck. If it was all concrete, I could've, but throw a peice of plywood under it, so it doesn't scar up the concrete. They are pretty light. I had to pay $50.00 for the first shell, and $55.00 for the second. Not enough value there for scrap alone, but still worth it to me to avoid the hassle of getting rid of it myself (you must have the title to sign over to them, in most cases...also). If your taking it down yourself, make sure they will accept it with the glass and or any carpet/plastic/gas tank still in it, and if they may require the title also. Otherwise, you'll have to cut 'er up in smaller chunks for some to take it this way. If thats what your doing.
