Yeah, thats the only one in our series. It said the interior was not redone. Thats why I said it'll be interesting. I know some cars on this site would make that 1 look tired even with the new paint.

i say 2-3 max. that car goes up for sale during the bathroom breaks. remember barrett is a no reserve auction so you could possibly get it for $500, which if you do may be too much for a pre zinc 924.

I doubt we even see that car on TV. It's really only cool and noteworthy to a bunch of geeks like us.

i hate the side markers on 924's. i can let the no-hips slide, i can let the no-wing slide, i can let the wheels slide.
but the side markers seriously look like they were pulled from auto zone.
absolutely.
terrible.
IMO.
edit- here's an item i would bid for if i had any kind of money.

Anyone who pays that kind of money to get inside is probably not going to be bidding on a 924, or if they do, it will be an afterthought for their distant nephew after they've bought the vintage Ferrari they were after.
Kind of makes me wonder what the seller of that car was thinking.

A few cars go buy for 50-60k or more, then all of a sudden a Porsche with an opening bid of $5k seams like a real deal. I'm not saying this is going to happen, but last year a couple of 928's went for more money than the average market 928 was selling for at the time.
i read somewhere that nobody really overpays at an auction. the most you can ever overpay is one bid increment.

951obsession, I totally agree with you about the sidemarkers. Awful. The euro model 924's look soooo much better.
bleucamaro, that bus is AWESOME! That would be a cool thing to own...
