Good choice Daniel, the G3 is a sweet rifle. I was in Combat Arms during my time in the Air Force so I have a love of all firearms. As for Flagstaff, I was in Phoenix and Flag in 1997 and really liked Flagstaff. Reminded me alot of home, as opposed to the desert in Phoenix. If I had to live in AZ, I'd pick Flag.

One can dream.....I would think that if in any state it would be legal, it's Nevada (so you're close).

So let's say with mods I get it up to 280 WHP, what would the BHP be?

Also, any DIN rating would NOT be bhp. It would be ps (pfredstarke) which is German for hp, however it is not measured the same. There is a conversion from ps to bhp.

It's not even a proven fact that it is a set percentage...I've seen cars have 24% (in that case 70hp) as stock loss from 320 hp,and after tuning them they had 80 hp loss...but 640+ crank...quite a cut in "percentage".
