NA valve spring pressure? and the 2.7 head
doing a little homework for my motor build,
Does anyone know the spring pressure in an NA? I know the turbo springs have 130# and 230# at full lift and want to compare the two.
I am also looking into getting my 2.7 head fully ported. Does anyone have flow#'s for this head? or know of the results porting with these?
I want to mainly smooth the transistion into the vavle because the intake port goes from it's inlet size, then gets wider on the left and right, then back down to the inlet size. To correct this I was thinking about having it "D" ported so the port is then shaped like a D so that it does not bother with the floor of the port and only modifies the roof sides and vavle guide boss. this used widely in the VW world, and danno has refered to it here as the thing to do.
thanks
derek
