Default my exhaust ripped in half!

so the hybrid's exhaust tore itself off right before the catalytic converter,
at 3 in the morning in cop country of course!

do the headers from the 968 attach to the 944 exhaust?

will the 944 exhaust tabs fit with the 924s body?

also I thought one company made all aluminum exhaust for our cars, (LR I thought)

anyone have experience with either of these?:

sfr:

944, 944S and 944S2 2.5" 304SS Bullet Cat-back Exhaust $599
944, 944S and 944S2 2.5" 304SS Testpipe $599

944, 944S and S2 owners now have an affordable exhaust option. SFR makes the ultimate exhaust systems for 944NA cars. You have your choice between 2.5" or 3" cat-back exhausts, with or without a muffler. We have testpipes with optional slip in catylists and resonators. Now you can taylor the sound of your 944 series car.

or

LR:

3" 944 exhaust system $340
3" 944 muffler $30

Lindsey Racing puts together yet another affordable production exhaust system. This time for the 944 NA.

This exhaust is made from aluminized coated steel exhaust tubing and a full 3" in diameter. Formed with mandrel bends making it free flowing throughout without pinch points and collapsed tubing like the factory system.

All systems come complete with band clamps for installation.

I have the SFR 'Bullet' catback on my car (well thats atleast what the exhaust tip says), however it comes with the Borla muffler on it.. Craftsmanship is excellent. very nicely welded together and all polished. It looks great on the car, its a big fat muffler tip however it looks right and not awkward or stupid looking. It does sound awsome, fairly loud if your on it but pretty mellow if your just crusing.

good to know!

But I think I'm leaning towards the lindsey piece right now, I just don't think an NA motor needs a stainless steel exhaust. plus it's a whole lot cheaper.

anyway, does anyone know if the 944 exhaust hangers are the same as a 924s'?
