I have zero issues with removing mine. Of course my fuel rail is brand new as I cracked my 35-year-old one while messing with it.

WOW! You're going to have a tough time getting THAT to buff out...just sayin. Sorry about the loss of your car..time for an LS swap?

No, not my car ... a racing buddie's.We went by his car twice under yellow before the session was red flagged and the fire truck was dispatched !
I only had two oil fires due to a faulty OPRV , those ones buffed out !
