i removed mine to see what what up. i dont know if i trust myself soldering this small of things......but on the solder side, i found what seemed to be burn marks. when i flip the board over, it seems that the little cylinder thing has some burn marks too. can this possibly be purchased at radioshack?

well im not gettign the option to insert a picture. i circled it on the previous posted picture on the first page. it is cut off on the right, and is the 6th horizontal(in the pic) cylinder from the top, and is light green with a couple stripes. hopefully i can find this and replac eit(?)

Kenny, that is a resistor which is easily sourced. The color bands are a code that tells what the resistor value is. If you bring it into radio shack or equivalent and show them, they should be able to get you a match. The code is called the RMA color code for resistors.

i actually just saved the pic on the first page and circled the thingy. i can take a pic of my board, maybe just for better reference for peopel searchign later on to see what a burn looks like. ill have to dig out my camera tomorrow.
