yep it's gonna make life easier for me and my techs. My new tranny jack etc should be in any day now along a new roll up door to replace the regular style garage door so we'll have more ceiling clearance.

yeah I picked a spotless 70k mile na motor with a spun #2 a pair of these and a weltmeister rear sway bar off a guy I do sopme work for who is selling his pristine 44. I'm gonna throw my drilled crank and forged rods in this one and let er eat again once I get caught up from some time and finish a LS-1 I'm building for a guy. Too much work!

Very very nice, I've been looking at the same unit - let us know what you think of it after using it some.

Sam we had to do some modifying to it the right side came down on the baseplate and was about 3 inches off of the ground, we had to clearance the baseplate to alleviate the problem. The drive on side also comes down on the baseplate and the other side of it on the ground making it kinda flimsy. I'm going to weld some blocks to the bottom of it to make it sturdy when all the way down. We talked to chasisliner about it and they're gonna refund us some money or send us a 1600 dollar engine lift that goes on the top of it. I'm told they make them a little diffrently now since the price of steel went up they're more tubular. I know this one is very well constructed however, they made a few errors. I figured they would have tested it before they shipped it out

Thanks for the feedback, I'll have to quiz my distributor and see if they've solved the issues before deciding on buying it.

the engineer said they have redesigned it and we got the last of the old ones, the reason for the redesign was due to higher material costs so the new ones aren't as heavily built. Plus they claim that the right side attachment that we were having problems with was because it was for the new design.
