I like the Cup 1's myself. Look more period correct and a little tougher.

FWIW,
The cup 1's are heavier than the stock 944 Turbo S wheels. (I was actually slower on the track with the 17" Cup 1's than the 88-89 Turbo S wheels) If you want bigger wheels than 16"s go with hollow spoke 18" Turbo twists.

I don't like how the twists are not symetrical. I don't like how the right side points forward and the left side points to the rear. I like my wheels symmetrical.

Ever since I realized that, I've avoided twists like the plague. Now if they made proper twists so the left side goes in the same direction as the right side, then I might consider it.

I like the Cup 1 look. As for the twist going in the same direction comment, I used to own a Subaru SVX and the wheels were rights and lefts with the twist pointing the right way on both sides. I personally like the BBS wheels as well.

I really like the looks of the 18" turbo twist but as streckfu's951 said above the fact that they are not symmetrical really bugs me too. One one side of the car they go one way and opposite in the other......yuck. But a good looking wheel anyhow.

I wanted Cup I's for my 951. Until I lifted a set. Man, those are heavy wheels! Went with Cup II's - much lighter. Didn't consider the Twists as they are too common around here. I would suppose there are other areas of the states where the Cup II's are too common - just depends on where you're at. Any of them look better than the Phone Dials - BUT, a nice set of Phones properly painted or polished can look very very nice.

For OEM wheel, I really like the Sport Classics. I just wish they came in a 7.5" or 8" x 17".
