Even though I would rather have it closer to the east coast, If its in Ohio, this would work out great for me. My wife is always bugging me to go see her mom. I could use it for a "family trip".

I hope to attend the Fest (with a capital "F") next year. It's a bit of a drive, but by the looks of the 2005 Fest thread, it's well worth the trip!

If the fest does happen this year at Fishey's, and I'm not on vacation...I'd be happy to help out with setup.

If everybody would behave themselves we could try and shoot for someplace like Hocking Hills. Really pretty setting and really fun roads, some kind of scary to boot.

For whatever reason, getting a bunch of gearheads together has a tendency to get out of hand.

The SE-R group has been getting together for national convenions since 1998 and we started the peer pressure early to "be cool." We remind everyone we would like to be welcome to come back. Occasionally people will do some stupid things, but the peer pressure works. Folks need to know anti-social behavior isn't cool and won't be accepted. Then everyone can have fun year after year.

That's in Sept or October IIRC. I'd possibly consider it, but I know I won't ever have enough races with NASA to qualify. I'd love to race at Mid-O however.

Seriously.. unless you have a half mile square of flat gravel and a mountain, I will be good.

Way to step up Dan. We all appreciate your effort. If you get something lined up, post a paypal account where we can send you some money to help cover cost/pay admission in advance.

Hey Guys,

I've been in touch with a few of you. I've finally gotten settled in in Louisville. Moved here from So Cal
in September. Really thought I'd been here in time for Fest 05, but to many reasons that didn't happen. I'll be bummed if there is no Fest in 06, what can we do to help make this happen ?
Different location ? Different people to put it together ? (must be one bitch of a project) Any ideas, I for one am willing to help out. Southern Ohio and Louisville guys get it together ? Not trying to leave anyone out, just throwing it out there...... and just to mention, I've seen at least three 944's since I've been here (two months) that I don't think have an affiliation with Rennlist. I didn't know about it for at about a year after I bought mine. Is there any other publicity for Rennlist other than the web ?
