Default 3 piece D90's?!?!

where can i find sum??? i have only seen one 944 with them on and its on a 944 thats modeling mudflaps in the porsche performance parts magazine that i get every month...they look absolutely amazing and i would really like to get sum..

Its from Performance Parts, aka AutoMotion. I believe a set of these actually sold on eBay a couple of months back, i cant remember.

Those will be pretty tough to find. When D-90s came out, companies like MM and the Japenese Fuchs knock off manufacturers used to make replicas in both early and late offset that looked like the real thing. I doubt if they were big sellers. Split rim versions like these were also available, I assume because they made it easier to tailor the offsets for early 944s and pre-89 911s. Ads for knock-off D-90s pretty much disappeared from Excellence by around 1994 or so.

They cost $3,000...but you have to take a 944 with them.

um... i know there are some people who will take your wheels and make them 3 piece and whatever width you want... I saw a guy at a CenDiv AutoX that had 3 piece fuchs that were like 10" widths.
