Well,

The auction hit my reserve and I have already recieved the deposit so the greenie is SOLD

Fortunatly the new owner is another local to add to the DC thread and his name is Mike too.. Lets get him signed up!!! So now I just need to swap the wheels and go and get the 88 928S4!

I will continue to lurk as there is always some entertainment to be found around here

Michael

928? Last year's craze. You're late, we're all upgrading to 911s.

Michael... you sold the '44 for under 3 grand?? It looked like such a keeper too. I would have bought it if my financial situation was more along the lines of the fruitful summer.

Anyways, all I can say about the 928 is:
1) Watch out for electrical gremlins
2) First mod: open the exhaust up some. A catless S4 with some flow-through muffler(s) sounds wicked.

Good luck and enjoy it... we still have to get a local get together organized sometime soon. You and BB are a couple of the only NoVA area rennlisters that I have talked to on here a lot yet haven't talked to in person!

For the locals list, FSAEracer03 has an '87 951 :-)
