Uhmm I think the fumes in your garage are a tad to strong.

Open the garage door before you get any more inspirations.

I think the photoshoping looks great!

I wonder what process, and what paint would last, AND, with any longevity to it.

I've been keeping an eye out for a used, whiter tank on Ebay, I think I'll continue my search and in the mean time I'll probably have to give this a shot, just for giggles.

I've got some high temp red & black spray paint left over from painting the cam assembly and a few other parts. I'm planning on thoroughly cleaning the top of the tank with some paint prep that I have, masking it off and just spraying on the stripes. The prancing pony will be a bit more of a challenge, I'll either create a stencil or mask it off and cut out the outline w/an Exacto knife.

I'll post some pics when I'm done, it'll be good for a laugh if nothing else.

Not for new 951 tanks, they have some sort of valve or something in them, which must be made from unobtanium...

Having said that, if you know where I can find one for a 951 for $75, please point me in the right direction.

35th: That would be great, PM sent.

Testa: Here's a more head on view of the coolant tank w/o the stencil, can't wait to see the results!

Based on your carboard rendering. This is what it would look like.
Now whoever produces this will have to get a lot more accurate readings and measurements off the tank. White represents where there would be no vinyl and tank would show through.
