I made one using copper tubing and a solder gun once. I had some time on my hands and it helped to personalize my car a little more. That was my previous 951. The new owner probably thought it was just another stupid PO fix.

What's torquing me now, is that I can't find the correct word for, "vacuum hose 'Y' connector" making it a nightmare to find pricing on, argh! Found hoses, but NOT the connectors.
Guess that's a few phone calls tomorrow.

The vacuum hose on 944's (the small stuff) is 3/16" vacuum tubing, you can get it and plastic/brass tees at pretty much any car parts store. It's very common.
Most times it's just simpler to replace the entire lot of it, since usually it all ages the same. But, given your situation and condition, I urge you to spend as much time resting as possible, and not chasing vacuum hoses, so only change whats broken for now, okay?![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Now, if your plugs are all black, this could be as simple as a disconnected vacuum hose to the FPR, but unfortunately, this is most likely not the case. However, it will be very difficult to proceed in the troubleshooting until this is corrected, so it's a great starting place.
Onto the side notes.....
The whole list appreciates your generosity (sp?), and even more so since you are a site sponsor, which is a rather important position IMO, because without sponsors, membership fees would be higher, or something worse. However, the rest of us aren't freeloaders (yes I know you already apologized), we pay our dues, and have done our time (for the most part). Rennlist is a whole lot of give and take, and should always be taken with a grain of salt. Much is lost when conversations are held in text.
For those who say get rid of the car, I say get bent :P
These cars are a lot more than transportation, and even if she sold it and bought something else, 944's don't fetch a lot of cash, and she'll be in the same boat with a similar-age domestic, and no rennlist to turn to, so really I think this is the better choice.
I spent months with my fingers crossed that nothing would break on my 86 because I couldn't afford to fix it. I've been in a similar financial situation, and the last thing on my mind was to sell my 944.

Julie,
PM me your address and I will drop you the hose a "T"s off of my car. I just did a vacuum delete. Most of them are in good shape and I'll also throw in some silicone vacuum hose and new "T"s to replace the hose going to the FPR and Fuel Dampener if you don't mind blue. Any way PM me and they are yours...

I don't know what you guys said, if it was another bunch of unfounded insults I am better off not reading it anyway. Feel free to PM me sometime if you care to be civil and make amends, otherwise you'll get no further interaction from me on the BBS.

Devia, Sorry about the hijack. As you may notice I got "called" into this. I really hope you get her running.
You've got wonder how long somebody's ignore list has to get before they look in the mirror.
