Default First post: Me and my 944 N/A -83

Hello all Porsche enthusiasts!
I'm new to this forum so i will start with a brief presentation of me and my car:

My name is Andreas Ingemarson and I'm a 24 year old economy student living in Sweden. I have had my 944 for about a year now and so far it's been great! I use it for trackdays only!

Here is a short list of modifications etc:

Stock engine (163hp)
LEDA single adjustable coilovers with 571 lbs/in and 743 lbs/in F/R. Torsion bars is removed
Paragon P. camber plates
Fiberglass hood
Lexan door windows and rear qtr windows
"Cleaned" interior with rollcage installed
Sparco seat and steering wheel
Without driver and fuel it weights about 2350lbs

Maybe I should mention that the hood is still white because I've been too lazy to paint it. Eventually I will...

Here are a few Pictures. Most of them are shot on Anderstorp Scandinavian Raceway on a lovely evening in June.

Cheers
Andreas

Hi,
One of the coolest 944 i've ever seen
GREAT CAR!!!
What type of rims do you have? What size?
Did you replace the standard steel arms with alu arms from late models?
I still don't know if I should replace them in my 84' 944.
Could you give us some more stand pics?
Can you tell something more what you did with suspenssion? Coilovers, springs, rear suspenssion?
Thanks

Thank you all for your warm welcome and nice comments!
You guys seem to be a bunch of really nice and friendly people (and owners of a bunch of nice cars too)!

Now, about the questions:

Yes, the wheels are some sort of gold BBS. The dimensions are 8x15" and 9x15". When I got the car it had 17" Cup's but since the 17" semislicks are to expensive for my student wallet I decided to run on 15". I was really happy when I found these old BBS wheels! I think they are a bit rare!

No, I have not replaced my old steel arms. Actually, I have not even thought about it. Are there any direct advantages?

The suspension contains of LEDA (http://www.leda.com/) single adjustable coilover dampers with rose joints and emulsified gas options both front and rear. I use springs from Eibach with approximately 571 lbs/in front and 743 lbs/in rear. I have also installed camber/caster plates from Paragon Products. The torsion bars are (with a lot of ) deleted.

I don't have many pics with decent quality where the car is standing, so all I can do is to show you the pics with not so good quality. The last two are shot with my cell phone...

I hope you got answers to your questions! If you didn't, please ask again! My english is not that great which makes misunderstandings possible but hopefully I will increase my skill in english.

Thank you!

i LOVE the second pic. i love deep dishes with negative camber.

on that note, what camber are you running? it looks like a bit from here, but you never know with the lines.
