Perhaps my favorite Porsche, the 904. I read in Excellence a few months back that Beck was going to start making 904 kit cars just like they do with the 550. I'd buy one in a second.

mmmmm RSR..... Tifosman has better pics than I. I LOVE that 'duck tail' far better than the whale IMO.
There was a great Episode of "Victory by Design" on Porsche. lots of stuff about the old 911's 917's etc... that episode is what finally pushed my buttons to bite the bullet and go for it!
I will have a 70's vintage 911 one day, it's not all about speed, sometimes there's more. 1973, hmmm the year I was born, I should start looking now before their all gone...

i like the 904, but i think the styling is too much like a ferrari IMO. i think one in my top 5 has to be the new 997. i LOVE that they went back to the single-light instead of that....weirdness on the 997. even tho i liked those too...
