I've seen this car (last week in fact). It previously belonged to Don Istook (his personal race car) and it is currently in his shop. Not everyone here knows who Don Istook is, but those who do will appreciate the car's pedigree. Don was racing 944s when only a small handful of people in the US owned them. He also currently is an owner/driver of a Grand Am Audi S4 team.

Don posted here regarding a possible GTG at his shop next month or January. Great opportunity to see the car.

A lot of people pay a lot of money for track cars. Here is the opportunity to buy a fully built race car. For those not in the know, the 924 is now classified in SCCA's ITB class where it is competitive (just see Vaughan's results this year).

This would be a good time, I can see SCCA ITB - but how would it compare in GT-3 Class? Arent there some BIG flat six turbo's in that class?
