air bag wiringwith race wheel
Hi,
Has anyone rewired a resistor into the airbag plug to turn off the dash light????
The instructions say to get a 3 Ohm resistor plug and the watts are not important.
I have tried NAPA, radioshack and a Hobby store with no luck. I did just get two small resistors which are in series and will have to be sodered.
Any suggestions???????

There is an easier procedure to cut a wire on the control module in the passenger footwell. Did this so long ago I forget the specifics. Sure someone can chime in. You want to kill the light w/o killing the DME.
