HOLY ****! The RPK is my personal holy grail! I must see it when it's done - which reciever are you using, both of my AK builds are on Ohio Ord. recievers.

I haven't made any decisions on that yet. The first AK is on a Vulcan, because that's a good one to learn on. The next two will probably be GT. Probably a DCI for the RPK.

I'm definitely treading thin ice w/the wife at this point.

Bump..... Talked to Tod944 this evening and tried to talk him into coming to this next gtg. I didn't realize it was a 12 hour drive for him. We discussed a possible gtg in Shreveport (halfway point?) for maybe early next year. What a nice guy. Anyone needing some parts should talk to this guy.

More later..........

Yep - another shameless plug - I got all the parts to fix my 87 944 from him as well as the hardware to mount a rear swaybar - great prices, awesome parts!

So is the general consensus as of now to do this in the mid-late December? It really doesn't matter to me, later is better as I have an entire week off from work paid and would love nothing more than to spend more time at the rance working on 944s.......

I have two days in December that won't be able to make it on. December 11th is autoX and December 25th, and I may not be too firm on the 25th . All other dates should work for me.

Damn, I'm going to Antarctica in December. I'd love to get back down to the Hill country.

I am so there - but keep in mind that because of a big project here at work, some of my upcoming weekends may be spent here...

Oh, and there's another Bandera Run on Nov 13th, no excuses, see you'all there!

December 11 I'll be running a 50k ultra-marathon in Huntsville. I'll be dying on the 12th.

Late November / Early-mid December. And the closer to central Tx or points southward, the better!

November 26 & 27 - who's doing anything that weekend anyway?
December 17 & 18 - in the middle of the craziness...

That's my suggestion, what do you'all think?

Hell, if Doug will put up with us - both!

Honestly, Dec is better for me - but I don't really care, I will be going up there more frequently anyways.
