I bought mine from www.partsheaven.com along with a few smaller pieces. Also, I used the switch assembly from my airbag car by drilling a small hole where contact fits. I then mated the horn positive wire to the post on the horn contact. This made for a very clean install.
Sorry about not taking pictures. If you post pictures of the back of your switch assembly, I can probably tell you where the contact post is supposed to fit.

i think the fact you have an '86 makes a difference for me. i have a second wire, green/yellow, that probably needs to go somewhere (maybe not).

i'll try and get a picture tonight of my switch and see if the 928 piece will work for me. does the brown/white wire (originally went to the rotary switch) connect to the 928 piece? then that's it???

I need to look at the wiring diagram when I get home. I believe the horn wire is a brown/white that has a yellow plug on airbag cars. That threaded hole is not what you need as that should be for the plastic cover that fits over the switches. You'll have to drill a small hole to slide the 928 horn contact into.
I'm pretty sure it socket #71 on the back of the combo swith assembly. There isn't a hole for it in the airbag equiped cars. I found a drill bit that was the same size as the post on the back of the 928 contact and drilled a hole through#71 position. I used a little glue to hold the 928 contact in the right position (you'll have to play with it a little to make sure it stays in contact with the hub as you turn the wheel). I then crimped a pin onto the Brown/white horn wire and slid it onto the 928 contact post.
I hope this helps.

What Daniel says, works.... BTE- some airbag cars already have the hole, some do not... I know of several 89s that do, but, my 88 turbo S does not... Gluing can be a PITFA, but, take your time & it will work... There are several threads in the archives on this... I learned from several others... Make sure you have the horn grounded & make sure the key is turned to the right before testing the horn- otherwise, will not work & you'll end up going back through it all again for no reason... Ask me how I know...
