Mein Gott. Auf wiedersehen Dan. I wish you peace.

Fifty-three is entirely too young.

My God..I'm shocked. I'm older than Dan and still have never grown up. This forum will surely miss such a talented man and friend. We had just talked just 2 weeks ago about low resistance grounding; I can't believe he's gone so soon. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family and loved ones. If anyone knows the service details and wants to start a response from Rennlist please post, I would like his family to know what he meant to this community of Porsche owners.

RIP Dan

I signed the guest book. I'm gonna post another link just to get people to sign the guest book. Hope it will provide some comfort to the family in that we all cared for him albeit over the internet.

That is extremely sad news to hear. I had the pleasure of doing buiness with Dan a few times. A very fair and friendly man to deal with.

Who knows how many lives he has saved inadvertantly with his incredible lighting kits. I for one think its downright dangerous to drive with those stock headlights, i cant see how i drove without them. He 'lit' the way for many of us.

I wish his family well!

Though I only knew Dan through this forum as Iceshark, he was always helpful, insightful, and friendly. It seems to me he led a life he was proud of and I wish I can say the same when my time comes. RIP Dan.

I am shocked. I still have a set of his battery cables to install...I only knew him through this board, but he seemed like a true Porsche-lover. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Peace, Dan.

Very simple way to pay tribute.

I did not make this, I just resized it for Matt.

OMG.... i've seen dozens of people pass away on ems calls and death was kind of easy to handle for me... but, damn, I'm totaly shocked and lost now. I was really good friends with Dan off this board and his death is a huge loss for me.... i feel like i lost a piece of me. This is horrible. Rest in peace my brother.

so sad to hear

I had recieved a PM from him on the 15th of Sept which stated this within it :

So just let me know you want one and either PayPal to wraydan@msn.com or send me a check. I think I have almost 40 VRs on hand so that shouldn't be a supply problem. Just do this in the next 3 weeks as I may be out of the country for a month. Nothing will happen then from me, obviously.
He passed on the 23rd ...

He will be missed. I never got the opportunity to have dealings with him, but from everything I have seen and read here he was a very good guy. One of those people that are very rare in this world, willing to helpout and offer any knowledge.

RIP
