well, i did not want to give away the auction, but i scored a white, black interior (same combo as before) $1800 woohoo!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

i think it went for low due to the mileage (222k) but it really doesnt matter, looks like the car was taken care of, and the seller is confident in driving it 200miles to get here which is also a good sign.

So the plan is to part the 89 but keep the motor. the 2.7 will get rebuilt with fully ported head, probably some other goodies and MAF to top it off. then get dropped inot the 86.

got the 86 form ebay today, pretty god buy for 1800, shift linkage is worn out, a couple other things but a solid car.

one thing that i did notice, my 89 is WAY quicker! i didn't think it was much faster, so as for performance improvements that can be made to the NA , they are there, exhasut and cam helped alot.
