On Saturday, November 5, I am thinking about going to Punkin Chunkin in Millsboro, Delaware, for the day. I thought this might make a good road trip and event for some Porsche folks (just don't park the car on the firing range).
Now, I'm on the wait list for a Driver's Ed at Summit Point for that weekend, and if I get in, then I may do the DE. On the other hand, if there is a fair amount of interest in Punkin Chunkin (or if I don't get into the DE), then I'm going to Millsboro.
I live near Upper Marlboro, Maryland. That's reasonably close to DC, Bowie, and Annapolis. I would drive up Route 2 to Annapolis, then over the Bay Bridge. From there, it's Route 404 into Delaware.
Perhaps folks from either the DC or Baltimore areas would be able to meet somewhere in Annapolis around 7:30 AM, then head east.
If interested, then send me an E-mail at markhubley@chesapeake.net. If there's reasonable interest, then I'll bail out of the DE and arrange a meeting place for breakfast, and maybe a place for dinner on the way home.
