Default Parking brake adjustment, what's the trick?

Now that I finally got a hitch for towing the jetski on the 944.Now I don't want the car and trailer to roll back into the lake.

How do I adjust the parking brake at the wheels? I've had the tires off before and either couldn't find the star wheel or get it to turn or didn't hit it correctly.

It apperars that the adjusting hole has to be at 12 o'clock, correct? Push the top of the star wheel back to adjust tighter or the bottom?

Correct location. A regular screw driver should do the trick. If the star adjustor will not turn then you have to take the disk/drum off and break it free. Might want to check the condition of the shoes too. Hardened and glazed shoes will not hold.
