if the photo was copyrighted, you definetly have legal recourse, if not, copyright it if you dont want em using it. Otherwise, I dunno, ask michelle.

Um... the photo would be copyrighted the moment he took the picture. There's no other way to "copyright it".. Unless you're talking about actually registering it with the federal copyright office (which is only necessary in very limited situations).

You have a copyright in that photo.....

as for asking for a free set, he obviously already has a set if he's taking pics of them on his car...

Yeah, i actually had on of the first sets. I've had clears on for a couple years now. There would be no need for a free set.

Yes, copyright is in effect the moment the work is put into a tangible form, such as a recording, photograph, sheet music, painting, etc... and you can show it.

I think i might just contact to let it be known.

I would write them and say go ahead and use it but please send me the kit you have in your ad for free. Then sell that kit or give it away for compensation....
