Relax. People are trying to help you, at your request. You have a few options to test. Try those and then come back to the board with your results.

don't be i'm sorry. I hate seeing my cars down like this

UPDATE: I swapped coils thinking the other coil I have would fix it. no luck. Which leaves me one thing. THE CHIP. It appears that Mr. Wilk's chip has hindered my car's engine management system into nothing more than a paper weight.

The reference sensors in the back of the car appear to be fine.

Andy, it could be alot of things, no spark at the coil, could only be:

first step: Relay - you have already checked
second step: reference sensors -easy to rule out with multimeter
third step: factory alarm - do you have one? if so use directions on clarks garage to jumper this, rule it out
fourth step: DME - BORROW a good one, or just buy a spare, good to have a spare around anyways for this kinds of issues...

wether or not the chip caused your problem is not certain, but you can figure it out pretty easily...
if you can borrow a DME you can have it running tonight, assuming that it is not the reference sensors...

Bad ignition swich, weak battery, cracked solder joints in the DME (could have weakened when the case was opened, and then vibrations did the rest), etc. As macfreak points out, 95% of the issues can be tested with a multimeter. Try swapping out the chip for the stock one, it is quick and easy to do and will afford you the opportunity to check the solder joints as well. I haven't heard of a chip killing a DME.

well I decided to crack the brain open...

but... guess what I found???

Little bastard loosened my FR Wilk chip!

Apparently the chip had vibrated itself loose! I pushed the chip down really firmly against the board and stuck it back in the car. SHIP SHAPE NOW!

Guy's I'd like to thank all of you for helping me out. I'm especially glad that I didn't labotomize my car by cracking that DME open. anyone's ever in San Diego that helped me out today is welcome to come to my house and have a couple cold ones!

gota love happy endings. I bought a set of chips also, but haven't gotten the nerve to put them in yet.
