The light should still be working. In my case it is still working.

To test, try to drop the RPMs a little too low (for instance, let the clutch out while it's idling). When the engine stumbles, you should see the light flicker.

Don’t stall it though!

Well, stalling-embarrassment aside, shouldn't it still be the same? Other cars I've had would start flashing the oil pressure light when I stalled 'cause it's not picking up any pressure...
