Default Glow Gauges

Hello,

There were a few posts awhile back of guys posting pictures of their glow gauges that they installed.

I am interested in puchasing some and was wondering if anyone who had them wouldn't mind posting their pics again - I tried doing a search and came up almost empty. This was from quite awhile ago.

Thanks as always!

Are you thinking of Darren who builds the "Flamingeye" instrument light upgrade for the 944 series? They make the guages appear to glow and are really great!

I have FlamingEye's LED's on my car. A great upgrade...absoltuley love them and they are are well worth the cost of admission.

I installed the white reverse glow gauges, they were easy to install and work great. I bought them off ebay but dont remember who. Just do a search on 944 gauges.

The only problem with the backlit gauges is since the needle does not glow, it would be hard to read. Can anyone confirm this?

Your'e right they dont glow. They are hard to see at times but not to bad. I pulled the 3 bulbs out because it just did not look right with the pale glow on the gauges. If I go back into the dash for any reason I might try the LED thing.

Needle does not glow, but I had working stock lights so it was enough to illuminate...now miles etc...those are hard to read. The glow alone(without stock lights running) will illuminate the needles surface enough to see them.
