I'm in. I want the fest to happen. lets make it happen. I doubt id I would drive all the way to Ohio though. that's like 50 thousand miles away or something. I down to rep the west if we can pull one off closer to my local. I would be down for maybe one or two states away but not the whole country. what was the turnout last year in Ohio?

I'm willing to bet there are more 944's in CA than OH, probably 10 to 1. I'd love to see a west coast GTG as well...especially since all the big 944 GTG's as of late have been on the east coast it seems. I know of at least 20 cars that would attend within 15 miles of me...and that's only scratching the surface. Orange County, LA, San Diego, inland empire...So Cal would probably produce 50 cars from the locals alone!

There is such a thing as tradition, it's been in OH it should stay close by for the guys that started it, just fire up the same concept in a different location, following the same theme with the same heart. If CA has that many 944s then finding a few loving Pcar owners to help organize shouldn't be a big deal.
When all said and done gather up all the videos, pics, and stories and post on one website. I can't believe the event has been free in the past, I would say a 25-50 donation (donation being the key word in the eyes of the taxman) should be doable for a good event. Hell that's barely dinner for two at sonic. If my car is road trip worthy count me in. I've been to a few 4x4 events with the s-10 and a bunch of like minded (or not so like minded) people with a passion for their sport getting together and sharing their knowledge, stories, and making new memories is worth whatever a guy can afford, because it can last a lifetime.

Ok then...should we start a So-Cal tradition, since they don't want to make this a national thing?

Frank, Jeff, Julie, Eyal, Kelly, etc...we can do this...
